Automatic receipt tracking starts after you connect a compatible mailbox and enable imports. Your platform must send a supported sale notification to that mailbox; import methods vary by platform.

What you need for email tracking

Enable sale notification emails on your creator platforms and route them into a dedicated receipts folder or label. Choose a separate folder or label for processed receipts.

Gmail
Requires 2-Step Verification and a Google app password. Your Google account must allow app passwords.
Outlook / Microsoft 365
Connect through Microsoft sign-in. IMAP access must be enabled for your mailbox.
Other IMAP providers
Requires your provider’s IMAP server details and supported mailbox credentials.
Proton Mail
Requires a Bridge-eligible Proton plan, Proton Mail Bridge and our Windows Companion. Keep Bridge and the Companion running, with the Companion unlocked, for automatic sync.

Email is optional. You can also add sales manually or use supported CSV imports.

Receipt coverage varies

Choose how you track your LF earnings.

Use the LF Windows app to keep one to four sessions separate, save and review statement history, export CSV and upload the reviewed selection. Its client workspace, sales board and inbox tools keep useful customer context close to your work.

The LF app is optional. Prefer to enter data yourself? Add your LF earnings and enter statement figures directly on the LF reconciliation page in your browser. Both the desktop app and LF reconciliation require Pro or above, including Early Bird and Founding access.

Here’s how you get started.

Your own account, your own database and a guided setup. You can start with manual entries or connect supported imports.

  1. Choose your membership.

    Join Early Bird or a regular monthly tier on Patreon. For $600 lifetime Founding access, contact Ms Smyth directly.

  2. Activate your account.

    Monthly members use Patreon login to activate their Tracker account. Ms Smyth arranges activation directly for Founding members.

  3. Set up and add your sales.

    Follow the walkthrough to connect your own database. Add sales manually, import a CSV or set up supported receipt and desktop imports.

Before you join

A few useful answers.

Is $29 Early Bird the same as $29 Lite?

No. Early Bird includes every app feature, report and member tool at $29/month for the first 25 sign-ups. Regular Lite is $29/month for core tracking, the daily workspace and core reports. Compare regular tiers above for their support and reporting differences.

What does the $600 Founding membership include?

A one-off payment for lifetime access to every Track Transactions app feature, report and member tool. Payment and account activation are arranged directly with Ms Smyth. Your own database and any third-party services are separate; Founding is not a recurring Patreon subscription.

Do I need my own database? Does it cost extra?

Yes. Your account uses a dedicated Supabase project that you control. The setup walkthrough supplies the instructions, database script and connection checks. Supabase offers a free plan with usage limits; paid plans or extra usage are billed separately by Supabase. Check current Supabase pricing (new tab) when choosing your project.

Your transaction data is stored in your linked project. Administrator support access is explained in the Privacy Policy.

What if I need help setting it up?

The app includes a guided database walkthrough, email setup instructions and a help centre. Setup and cleanup support depend on membership: regular Lite has standard support, Pro has priority support, and Elite includes managed setup and an admin-assisted historical import. Contact Ms Smyth to discuss the help you need with a launch membership.

Do I have to connect my email?

No. Manual entries and supported CSV imports are available. Automatic receipt imports need sale notification emails delivered to a compatible mailbox, plus separate folders or labels for new and processed receipts. Gmail requires 2-Step Verification and an app password; Outlook / Microsoft 365 uses Microsoft sign-in with IMAP enabled; other IMAP providers need their server details and credentials. Proton requires a Bridge-eligible plan, Bridge and our Windows Companion running and unlocked. Check the email requirements and platform import methods before joining.

Which memberships include the LF and NF apps?

Both Windows apps require Pro or above: Pro, Elite, Early Bird or Founding membership. They are not included with Lite.

Do I need Windows or the LF desktop app?

The main Tracker and Dash work in your web browser. Windows is needed for the desktop companion apps. The LF app is optional: you can enter your LF earnings and monthly statement figures directly on the LF reconciliation page in your browser. LF reconciliation also requires Pro or above, including Early Bird and Founding access.

Can I bring my existing sales history?

Yes. Use supported CSV imports, historical receipt processing or reviewed records from a connected desktop app. Available methods depend on your platform and the records you have. Admin-assisted historical importing is included with regular Elite and available as an add-on for regular Lite and Pro.

How do I manage or cancel monthly membership?

Manage or cancel your monthly membership in Patreon. Tracker access follows the membership status reported by Patreon. See Patreon’s cancellation guide (new tab) for billing and access timing. Founding members arrange their one-off membership directly with Ms Smyth.
